Pop'n Music is a long-running rhythm game series by Konami, starting all the way back in 1998. It revolves around hitting big colorful buttons to the beat of a song, and is FULL Of characters you can play as!
My experience with the series
I don't fully remember how I first came across Pop'n, but I do remember this song popping up in my YT recommendations during a DDR music binge.
I wouldn't play any of the games until 2019 when I bought Pop'n Music Portable 2 (which was around the same time I started my IG account)! Since then, it's brought me joy, art inspiration, and I've even made a few good friends thanks to this series (if any of you see this, hi!!)
