Entry no. 10 [07/06/26]

Happy ArtFight season everyone! I've been VERY busy drawing as many attacks as I'm physically able to (so far I've drawn 17!), but I really need a break. Didn't exactly plan out how I was gonna go about this AF season, but eh.

In other news, I'm making progress in Metaphor ReFantazio (still in the early parts of the game because I didn't have a lot of time to play), and trying my best to find a new job. It's not working, lol.

Entry no. 9 [06/27/26]

Hope everyone's been well this Pride Month! Anyways, I went to a local theme park!! It was a LOT of fun!! I went on a couple rides, did an activity where you could get gems and crystals, and got a surprisingly good iced mocha.

In other news, my ArtFight stuff is pretty much done!! Ignoring the one OC I added and haven't made a lot of lore for yet, lol. I'm so excited!! I can't wait to start drawing other people's amazing OCs!!

On a more negative note, I didn't get to go to my town's local Pride event. The day kinda snuck up on me and had no time to get the day off from work. There's always next year.

Lastly, I got a TON of new games because of Steam's Summer Sale, so I've been playing some of those (Mainly Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo and Rift of The Necrodancer. Both are super fun!!). I've also picked up Metaphor ReFantazio again (though I had to restart because I forgot what I was doing).

Entry no. 8 [06/04/26]

Happy Pride Month!! This is my 2nd Pride Month being fully out as an Aroace person, and I couldn't be happier! I'm much more confident in my identity now (and more confident in general), though I may have been questioning other aspects like gender. It's okay not to have all the answers yet though.

Anyways, I have quite a lot going on this month. I still need to work on my ArtFight stuff before it starts next month, I'm going to a theme park later this month, and hopefully I can go to my town's local Pride event! I have to look up when it is though.

I've also been playing a LOT of Pop'n Music now that my local arcade has a couple cabinets. The highest I can play right now is Light 17 and Normal 20+ (depends on the song, really).

I think that's all I have for this entry. I'll be back at the end of the month! And if not, then it's because of ArtFight, lol.

Entry no. 7 [05/20/26]

It's not quite the end of the month yet, but I feel like making a blog post, so here I am!

Anyways, not a whole lot happened this month. We're just about fully moved into the new place, and it's pretty nice! I'm still trying to get used to having stairs though, lol.

In other news, I didn't get to go to the retro gaming expo I talked about in the last blog post. Maybe next year.

Next, I have a LOT to work on before ArtFight this year thanks to the site switching to HTML. I thinakfully have the rest of this month and all of next month to make my character pages and profile look nice (thanks to free to use templates. Shoutout to everyone who makes them, they're lifesavers), but that also means I'm gonna spend less time making art outside of AF. I'll try though.

Lastly, I'm contenplating reworking CometWorks. With the nicer templates I'm using for AF, I don't think I really need it as an OC wiki anymore. I'll leave it as it is for now, but maybe I can use it to host a webcomic? fan projects? I'll think on it.

Entry no.6 [05/01/26]

It's May! Crazy how time flies (espeically as you get older).

Anyways, I'm moving! As of right now, we almost have everything set up in the new place, and should be fully moved in next week. I'm SO excited, because I've wanted to move for a really long time (I've lived where I am for a really long time). Though due to moving, I haven't had a ton of time to actually draw. I've done some doodles here and there, but I've been too busy to make full pieces. Hopefully I can get back into it once we're fully settled in.

In other news, I've been messing around with the trial version of SynthV 2, and it's so fun to use! Even though I said I'd give up making music in my last blog post, I changed my mind. I just needed to find programs I can actually work with. Anyways, There's quite a few voicebanks that have trials too, so I've been using those (I love using Gumi and Miki so far! I've tried some male voicebanks and a couple of the BanG Dream ones, but not enough to really have an opinion).

Lastly, I've been playing a lot of Tomodachi Life (like most people lately, lol). It's been SUPER fun! Though I'll admit I've spent more time making Miis and decorating my island than anything else, lol. Also, my local Round1 is replacing the old DDR A cab with one of the gold ones, so I played one last round on that old cab yesterday. Looked like they were making room for more games too, so maybe we're finally getting Pop'n Music? I hope so, at least.

Well, that's pretty much everything I have to talk about here. I'm going to a retro gaming expo this Sunday, which I'll probably talk about in the next blog post at the end of the month.

Entry no.5 [04/02/26]

Hey, it's been awhile! Sorry for not updating this often.

Anyways, I've given up on trying to make music. I just can't make anything that sounds good imo, and that's okay. I'll just stick to what I know best; art and writing. Speaking of which, I've started doing a series of redraws of my old art (mostly old ATG art), and that's been going well! I've really noticed an improvement in my art since I drew the originals (I did mess up a bit on one of the redraws though, so I still have a lot to learn).

In other news, one of my cacti bloomed! For a few days now, my smallest cacti started growing a flower, and it bloomed recently! Yesterday it (the flower) sadly died, but it was still REALLY cool to see! I did see another bud on it, so maybe my cacti will grow another flower (at least, I hope it will)

Lastly, my family and I saw the Mario Galaxy movie last night (in 3D!), and I really liked it!

That's pretty much all that's happened. Maybe I'll just make this more of a monthly thing, so I have more to talk about. So maybe expect another post at the end of the month if I don't forget?
