Entry no.6 [05/01/26]
It's May! Crazy how time flies (espeically as you get older).
Anyways, I'm moving! As of right now, we almost have everything set up in the new place, and should be fully moved in next week. I'm SO excited, because I've wanted to move for a really long time (I've lived where I am for a really long time). Though due to moving, I haven't had a ton of time to actually draw. I've done some doodles here and there, but I've been too busy to make full pieces. Hopefully I can get back into it once we're fully settled in.
In other news, I've been messing around with the trial version of SynthV 2, and it's so fun to use! Even though I said I'd give up making music in my last blog post, I changed my mind. I just needed to find programs I can actually work with. Anyways, There's quite a few voicebanks that have trials too, so I've been using those (I love using Gumi and Miki so far! I've tried some male voicebanks and a couple of the BanG Dream ones, but not enough to really have an opinion).
Lastly, I've been playing a lot of Tomodachi Life (like most people lately, lol). It's been SUPER fun! Though I'll admit I've spent more time making Miis and decorating my island than anything else, lol. Also, my local Round1 is replacing the old DDR A cab with one of the gold ones, so I played one last round on that old cab yesterday. Looked like they were making room for more games too, so maybe we're finally getting Pop'n Music? I hope so, at least.
Well, that's pretty much everything I have to talk about here. I'm going to a retro gaming expo this Sunday, which I'll probably talk about in the next blog post at the end of the month.
Entry no.5 [04/02/26]Hey, it's been awhile! Sorry for not updating this often.
Anyways, I've given up on trying to make music. I just can't make anything that sounds good imo, and that's okay. I'll just stick to what I know best; art and writing. Speaking of which, I've started doing a series of redraws of my old art (mostly old ATG art), and that's been going well! I've really noticed an improvement in my art since I drew the originals (I did mess up a bit on one of the redraws though, so I still have a lot to learn).
In other news, one of my cacti bloomed! For a few days now, my smallest cacti started growing a flower, and it bloomed recently! Yesterday it (the flower) sadly died, but it was still REALLY cool to see! I did see another bud on it, so maybe my cacti will grow another flower (at least, I hope it will)
Lastly, my family and I saw the Mario Galaxy movie last night (in 3D!), and I really liked it!
Seeing the Pikmin and Fox was one of the highlights of the flim for me. Poor Slippy got disrepected via a 2-second joke (RIP my fave Star Fox character, lol). Peach and Rosalina being sisters was a fun reveal too.spoiler warning
That's pretty much all that's happened. Maybe I'll just make this more of a monthly thing, so I have more to talk about. So maybe expect another post at the end of the month if I don't forget?
Entry no.4 [03/11/26]Hi! Not a lot has happened (it's only been 3 days since my last entry anyways).
The musical I saw was okay (it had a couple funny moments, but overall wasn't my thing). My family and I had dinner at a resturant I've never been to aftwerwards, and that was really fun! Other than that, I've been messing around in Garageband and seeing if I can make something decent. I don't have any real musical talent or skill, but I like to mess around in music programs and see what I can make.
Entry no.3 [03/07/26]It's been awhile! Lately I haven't done a whole lot.
I've mainly been drawing, working on a little crossover AU I've had for awhile, dealing with IRL stuff (touching grass, if you will), and playing the first Ratchet and Clank. I'm also going to see a musical tomorrow! That'll be fun (I've never watched one in person before, only YT videos and a recording a friend had on DVD back in high school).
Entry no.2 [02/25/26]I'm finally on my days off, so I went to the arcade (again)!
I mostly went to see if they added Pop'n Music, and they did not. But I did play some DDR and Maimai (which is pretty much all I play besides the crane machines. And the Monkey Ball ticket game when I really wanna get tickets, lol).
Entry no.1 [02/23/26]Still hard at work updating the site! There's a LOT more graphics, so it doesn't look as plain as it used too imo.
Anyways, I've actually been struggling to draw complete art pieces lately, so I've kinda just drawn concept art for my newest project instead. I'm sure I'll get the motivation to complete art again. But in the meantime, I'll continue to update this site and CometWorks, make concept art, and just do what I normally do.
Entry no.0 [02/21/26]The blog is back! Kinda! It's a bit of a WIP, like everything else I make it seems, lol.
Lots of exciting stuff has been happening! Pop'n Music coming to every Round1 location, the Ave Mujica collab in Arknights is coming to an end (I did NOT have fun. It was too hard, lol), and I've been hard at work on a new OC project! Though with my work schedule being the way it is atm, I may have to put it on hold. In other news, I've been trying to spend less time online for mental health reasons (I haven't been doing the best in general, but I'm managing).
